Announcing a New Partnership
The Victorian Web is a vast, interactive on-line library of materials, with more than 150,000 documents and images covering all aspects of Victorian culture. Written by experts in the field, it’s free to use and open to all. It’s made up of a network of links so that readers can switch easily between subjects. The Web is especially rich in information on the Pre-Raphaelites, their followers, and the contexts in which they worked. Pre-Raphaelite paintings, illustrations, stained glass windows, furniture, tapestries and applied arts are discussed in a wide range of essays, reviews, and detailed explorations of images, prose writings and poems. The Victorian Web is proud to announce a new partnership with the Pre-Raphaelite Society. Our aim is to combine our resources and encourage those with an interest in the PRB to read and research as widely as possible by making use of the Web and the many activities offered by the Society. We also aim to publish selected essays for the Review on VW. The Victorian Web http://www.victorianweb.org/

Simeon Solomon 'Special Issue' of the PRS Review in 2020!
PRS Reviews in 2019Our new PRS Editor, Katja Robinson, has produced three wonderful issues of the PRS Review in 2019. This year Katja has brought a new look to the Review including with full colour covers and many colour images inside. In the Spring we reproduced and celebrated the essays and poetry of our John Pickard Essay Prize & PRS Poetry Prize winners alongside book and exhibition reviews. The Summer issue saw essays on Edward Burne-Jones, Christina Rossetti and Dante Gabriel Rossetti and others, as well as a new feature called 'Gallery Focus'. Autumn's edition produced essays on Evelyn De Morgan, the Marchmont Mural Cycle and Pre-Raphaelite Muses and included poetry and another 'Gallery Focus', this time on the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford. 2020 promises to be another great year for the PRS, so if you haven't renewed your membership yet, you can do so on this website HERE - and for those of you who are considering membership, go to our membership pages HERE.
