About the event
On 20th March 2026 at 6pm Pre-Raphaelite Society Chair Serena Trowbridge will be giving her inaugural Professorial lecture on behalf of Birmingham City University. 'Why Does Pre-Raphaelitism Matter Now?' will look at Pre-Raphaelitism from its inception through to its many later forms, and consider why this nineteenth-century movement still matters in the 21st century.
